About MetroMedia, Inc.


MetroMedia was founded in 1997 and is located in Fairway, Kansas.

Our mission at MetroMedia is to re-define custom media, and to provide outstanding, personalized customer service to all of its partners.

MetroMedia partners nationwide with chambers of commerce, convention and visitors bureaus, associations, cities and sports teams to provide custom print, mobile, online solutions.



David Small, President

David Small is a 20+ year marketing expert and co-owner of MetroMedia, Inc. He developed the national Chamber2Go mobile app program for chambers, and Small is the founder of MetroMedia (1997). He received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, a M.S. from the University of Kansas, and a MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Small ran the partner marketing group at Sprint in the late 1990s to 2004, and he developed and managed partnerships with Bank of America, America Online, Discover, and other Fortune 100 companies. He serves on the board of directors for Wayside Waifs, and he is a former board member of Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, the American Cancer Society, Kansas City Hospice, and the American Stroke Foundation.

Steve Rose, Chairman

Steve Rose is a veteran journalist and entrepreneur. Co-owner of MetroMedia, Inc., Rose owned the Sun Publications until 1999. He is a columnist for the Kansas City Star, chair of the UMB Scout Funds board of directors, contributor to KCPT’s Ruckus television show, and a former talk show host for public television’s Talk Back Live with Steve Rose. Rose served as president of the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, as well as vice chairman for the Greater Kansas City Board of Directors, and he continues to be heavily involved in metro chamber affairs. He co-chaired the bi-state initiative that saved Kansas City’s landmark, Union Station.
